Now that the dust has settled.

Now that the dust has settled I would like to thank everyone who helped make June  FANTASTIC!

Dan, Ryan and I started on June 6th at the MCA's First Friday singles night. The night didn't turn out to be exactly as planned but then again that may have been boring. I forgot a guitar strap, broke one of Dan's guitar strings and unless you were sitting on my lap you couldn't hear us. Despite these setbacks we had a great time and the event itself proved to be a very enjoyable evening mingling, sweating and smoking free cigarrettes(not me of course, I'm a quitter) with strangers.

On June 13th with Neil joining us, we entertained the Rivendell Theatre's "Blue Jean Ball" It was a night of free beer, rum and a little bit of line dancing. I found out I can't line dance and sing at the same time.  My friend Brian's family was in town that evening and they attended the event. They had the greatest time and it was said that they were the liveliest crowd members. It was a real treat to be able to put on a show they could attend. The theatre raised a lot of money everyone had a "ball"

Outside at a streetfair is so far one of my favorite venus to perform a live show. Andersonville Midsommarfest had us back again this year on this past Sunday June 15th. With Maria joining us we pumped out a 90 minute set that got the kids dancing. Seriously, it was so cute to see a bunch of little tikes right in front just letting go and enjoying the music. I had the boys wear matching t-shirts that proved to be much cuter in the store, but they are troopers and I thought they were adoarable. I couldn't believe the size of the crowd that swormed in front of the stage and left wanting to hear more. That is one of the best feelings anyone can get.

I would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us this past month. Hope to see you all again soon.

Love,

Devin

ps  My stories are always better live. I haven't figured out how to be animated while writing.
